Loads of Leeds fans have been reacting to the latest transfer news, as Marcus Antonsson is set to for a permanent exit from the club.
According to Phil Hay of the Yorkshire Evening Post, Antonsson will leave the club to join Swedish side Malmo. The club confirmed the move on Saturday night.
The player had been nearing a switch to Italy, but he’ll be heading back home to link up with former Wigan and Leeds boss Uwe Rosler.
Antonsson swapped Sweden for Yorkshire in 2016, but struggled to nail down a consistent place in the side.
The 27 year-old obviously has plenty of quality, but it always felt like he was being shoehorned into Garry Monk’s system.
After 16 league appearances for the club with his lone league goal coming at Sheffield Wednesday, the Swede spent last season on loan at Blackburn, where he impressed with seven league goals.
It obviously wasn’t enough to force his way into Marcelo Biesla’s plans though as the new boss ruthlessly trims down the squad, and you can find some of the best Twitter reactions to the impending move down below…
That means 9 outgoings and 2 incoming. What a season this will be

A bit of s shame with Marcus Antonsson. Another example of a player not working out for us & for the benefit of his career probably the right move but do think he has some talent. #lufc #MOT

So we only have Roofe up front? And not even an option on the bench? What is actually going on?!
