Lots of Everton fans have taken to Twitter to discuss Paris Saint-Germain rekindling their interest in Idrissa Gueye.
The Ligue 1 champions have submitted a €30m (£27m) bid for the 29-year-old midfielder, who is currently away at the Africa Cup of Nations with Senegal where his goal against Benin put them into the semi-finals.
Check out some amazing tekkers in the video below…
PSG were extremely keen to land the 5 foot 9 ace back in January, with their interest resulting in Gueye handing in a transfer request to try and force through a move to the Parc des Princes.
The Parisians offered £26.2m back in January, so it is fairly insulting of them to offer just £0.8m more a few months down the line for a player who is worth his weight in gold to the Toffees and Marco Silva.
In the modern day market, offering such a low figure for the former Aston Villa man who won Everton’s Player of the Season award is out of order from PSG, and is arguably a waste of everyone’s time.
Let’s see what the Everton fans on Twitter have said about the bid…
If Bournemouth can get £20 million for Mings Gana must be worth at least £50 million? Absolutely no need to sell

Firstly I’d sell him coz of his age. BUT are they thick, we refused that figure in January and told them he would cost more. #idiots

Not a chance unless its €45-50mil and I’d very begrudgingly accept that.
— David Norris (@DayNogs) July 11, 2019
Nope. Nowhere near what he’s worth

One of our best players needs to stay he’s getting better and better every time he plays

Tripple it just to start a serious consideration otherwise they can be ignored.

Wouldn’t even entertain offers under £45m in this current market…. and only start strongly considering offers once in excess of £55m !
— Andy (@NismoDK_efc) July 11, 2019
Nope. Pretty insulting really.

He could of kicked up a fuss last transfer window, didn’t and played well all year. Probably the right time to sell and one of the last opportunities to make a good bit of money on him. It’s a sell from me.
— Matthew L C Davies (@MatthewLCDavies) July 11, 2019
After succesful afcon tournament it would be ideal time to sell. We cant deny that
— Finners (@realfinners) July 11, 2019
It’s a no from me, he’s on a good contract and integral to how we play. His stats are as good as anyone’s in Europe. We don’t need the money and it’ll cost double to replace him. ??♂️
