Arsenal are looking to sign Paris Saint-Germain youngster Stanley Nsoki according to French news outlet Paris United, as cited by The Mirror.

What’s the story?

The 19-year-old defender is a product of the PSG academy and has made one appearance for the senior side in Ligue 1 under new Arsenal manager Unai Emery.

According to the report, the versatile centre-back has rejected a professional contract with the French champions and Arsenal are interested in snapping him up.

One for the future

Nsoki is competent playing at left-back and central midfield, as well as at centre-back, and could be a very useful player in the future for the Gunners.

Emery clearly knows him well and the promise he has, and the relationship between the duo that already exists given his time in charge at the Parc des Princes, could bring the best out of the promising young star.

The 19-year-old would be unlikely to feature much for Arsenal any time soon but he’s definitely one to watch for the future, and the type of player that Emery would mould into a world-beater.
