Loads of Newcastle fans have been reacting to the latest transfer news, as it now looks certain that Isaac Hayden will indeed leave the club.
When Hayden made it clear that he wanted to leave Tyneside earlier this month, fans were completely split on the news.
On one hand, the versatile youngster played a huge part in the Magpies’ promotion from the Championship, and his passion and work ethic had endeared him to plenty of fans.
Still, there was a feeling amongst many fans that he isn’t really up to scratch in the Premier League, and not capable of playing a major part in driving the Magpies towards where they want to be.
The 23 year-old hasn’t changed his stance either, reaffirming his desire to leave the club this week.
“The club know my stance. I spoke to them at the start of the summer,” he said.
“I spoke to the manager, I spoke to the club. I let them know about the situation. I’ve done my bit for the club. I helped the club get promoted and I helped the club stay in the Premier League last season.”
Perhaps it’s because he seems so motivated to jump ship, but fans are turning against him now, all agreeing they should let him go.

If he wants to leave then fair enough but can’t understand him thinking the club owe him, he done ok in the championship but was a bit part player last year

I’d have been looking to replace him with better Any way. I’m not as convinced as others that he’ll kick on. Hoping he is swapped from a ball playing defensive midfielder with a passion for tackling cleanly.
