However, there was a positive update on Friday on the eve of the Premier League’s resumption, as Blues boss Frank Lampard confirmed that Antonio Rudiger is finally in contention to make his first senior appearance of the season.
And Blues fans are clearly ecstatic with the news; so much so, that some have called for the 26-year-old to be included in the starting line-up at Molineux this weekend.
