According to The Daily Mail, Crystal Palace are interested in signing Munas Dabbur from Red Bull Salzburg and they have opened talks with the Austrian club over his potential transfer.
Dabbur began his senior career in Israel with Maccabi Tel Aviv for whom he played a total of 78 games, in which he scored 23 and assisted nine.
The forward then signed for Swiss side Grasshoppers in February of 2014 for a fee of around £360,000.
Dabbur went on to play 105 games for Grasshoppers, in which he scored 56 and assisted 28.
This superb record caught the eye of current club RB Salzburg who signed him in July of 2016 for a fee in the region of £5.4 million.
Dabbur has since played 83 games for RB Salzburg, scoring 38 and assisting 15 in that time. He is naturally a striker but Dabbur can also play left wing and behind the striker.
A Jekyll and Hyde season for Palace
The 2017/18 season for Crystal Palace was very much up and down. They started the season by picking up zero points from their first seven league games.
During those seven games, Palace would also fail to score a single goal, a new league record.
However, once Roy Hodgson took over Palace’s form dramatically improved, Hodgson picked up a 2-1 win vs Chelsea in his first game in charge of Palace.
From there, Palace grew in confidence and would finish the 2017/18 season in 11th place, not bad considering they lost their first seven games and were clear favourites to go down.
Now, however, Palace are keen to strengthen their squad this summer in order to make sure they have a much better start to their 2018/19 campaign.
