30′ SAVE! Milivojevic loses possession in a dangerous position and Kane surges towards the edge of the box. He hammers a strike towards net, but Hennessey gets across to palm the ball behind for a corner.

28′ Tottenham are starting to edge into the game by getting their influential players on the ball.

27′ WIDE! Davies makes a charge down the left flank and he digs out a cross into the middle. Alli meets the ball with a cushioned header that he fails to direct towards Kane or the target as the ball sails harmlessly wide of the post.  A disappointing effort.

25′ Sakho and Tomkins have to be alert at the back for Palace. The Frenchman clears Davies’ delivery from the left flank away from Kane, while Tomkins has to slide to make an interception ahead of Alli from the follow-up.

24′ The eventual corner comes in from Palace, but the visitors are able to clear their lines with ease. Wan-Bissaka knocks a ball back over the top that is claimed with ease by Lloris.

S. Aurier

K. Trippier

Tottenham Hotspur

24′ Aurier replaces Trippier, who walked off under his own power.

23′ Trippier is down on the deck and will have to make way here. A concern for Tottenham and England.

22′ Lloris makes a mistake at the back in wet conditions, failing to keep the ball in play while gathering on the slide.

21′ Kane has his first kick of the ball in the Palace half, but quickly loses out to Tomkins as he tries to advance towards the edge of the box.

19′ BLOCK! Sissoko weaves his way through a crowd of Palace defenders down the left flank. He cuts back in to shoot at goal on his right foot, but Sakho gets across just in time to make a vital block.

18′ Palace are targeting Foyth at the back for the visitors. This time the defender performs a neat piece of skill to evade Townsend to bring the ball away from danger.

17′ Foyth loses his composure under pressure, sending a simple pass to Lloris out for a corner to Palace. The defender appears to be a tad nervy out there.

16′ CHANCE! Townsend latches on to a long ball over the top from Sakho. He takes control in the left inside channel and goes for goal from a tight angle, only to fire his effort into the side-netting.

15′ WIDE! Milivojevic stands the ball up to the back post from the resulting corner. Tomkins rises with Alli, but he can only guide his effort wide of the post.

14′ Wan-Bissaka and McArthur combine down the right, with the former sending a low cross into the box. Alderweireld reads the danger to clear behind for a corner.

12′ Lucas has to act at the back as the last line of defence for his team. Townsend’s surge and cross found McArthur at the back post and he headed the ball across the face of goal for Ayew. The forward seemed destined to tap the ball into the net, only to be denied by Lucas.

10′ Trippier has space down the right and he sends an early cross into the box. Sakho has to stoop to head the ball behind at the near post for a corner.

9′ Milivojevic looks to thread the needle for the run of Ayew, but Foyth is there to make the interception.

7′ Lloris comes off his line to punch Milivojevic’s corner into the box, but the delivery sails over his hand and fortunately for the Frenchman the heads of every Palace player in the vicinity.

6′ Ayew gets the better of Alderweireld down the right flank. The forward races down the right flank to send a low cross into the box that Foyth has to clear behind for a corner.

4′ A mistake by Van Aanholt almost allows Tottenham in as Sissoko and Alli combine, but the latter’s pass is cut out by Sakho in the box.

3′ The ball goes end-to-end in the early stages of the contest. Neither side is able to enjoy a passage of play.

1′ We’re underway at Selhurst Park.

The players are out on the pitch and there will be a minute of silence before the match.

Crystal Palace have lost their last six Premier League games against Tottenham Hotspur, scoring just one goal across those matches.

Pochettino makes six changes to his side that defeated PSV during the week. Lloris returns to captain the team between the sticks, while Trippier and Foyth come into the back four. Eriksen and Winks drops out of the centre of midfield as Sissoko and Wanyama get the start, while Lamela is preferred to Son. Davinson Sanchez is out with a hamstring injury.

There’s a huge blow for Palace as Wilfried Zaha misses out due to a hamstring injury. Palace keep the same shape even without their star man as Ayew comes into the side to replace the forward in the only change from their defeat to Chelsea.

Tottenham secured a vital win over PSV Eindhoven during the week to keep their Champions League hopes alive thanks to a brace from Harry Kane. Mauricio Pochettino’s men now turn their attention to the Premier League where a victory this evening would lift them to within two points of Manchester City at the top of the table, who play in the Manchester derby on Sunday.

Palace are winless in six matches in all competitions, putting pressure on Roy Hodgson to turn their fortunes around. The Eagles are level on points with 18th-place Cardiff City, leaving them out of the relegation zone only on goal difference. Hodgson’s men suffered a 3-1 defeat against Chelsea last time out. They have to put in an improved performance againt another London rival to claim a much-needed win.

Good evening and welcome to the live commentary of the Premier League clash between Crystal Palace and Tottenham at Selhurst Park.
