El Clasico Confirmed by Tebas

The second Clasico of the LaLiga Santander season will take place at 21:00 CET on Sunday, March 1 at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu.

That same week, Barcelona will take on Napoli in Italy on the Tuesday while Real Madrid will host Manchester City at the Bernabeu on the Wednesday in the second leg of their respective Champions League last-16 ties.

In order to make up for Barcelona having an extra day’s rest, albeit they have to play their Champions League match away from home, LaLiga have selected 21:00 CET on the Sunday in order to make things more even.

LaLiga president Javier Tebas confirmed this date and time at an event in London for the launch of LaLigaTV in the United Kingdom.
