According to The Telegraph, Leicester City have cooled their interest in Monaco midfielder Youri Tielemans due to his £40m valuation.
And that has led to a number of Tottenham Hotspur fans calling for their club to sign the Belgium international in this summer’s transfer window.
Tielemans joined Leicester on loan during the winter window.
And there is no question that the 22-year-old made a positive impression during his time at the King Power Stadium – scoring three times and registering five assists in 13 Premier League appearances.
Tottenham have previously been credited with an interest in the central midfielder, in addition to Manchester United.

A selection of the London club’s fans are now keen for chairman Daniel Levy to move for Tielemans with Leicester seemingly not willing to pay £40m, which would break their transfer record.
A selection of the Twitter reaction from the Spurs supporters in relation to a potential swoop can be seen below:
Decent price, even 50m would be good

We should never have let him join Monaco in the first place. Spurs need to get on this asap. Could prob get him for lower than £40m if we lucky. #THFC #COYS
