Reported Chelsea target Leon Bailey scored another brilliant goal for Bayer Leverkusen in their 2-0 win against Mainz 05 on Sunday, and Blues fans have urged their club to sign the attacker.
The Mirror reported on January 9 that the Blues and Premier League rivals Manchester United and Arsenal are all eyeing up a move for the £40m-rated winger, who has been in sparkling form for the Bundesliga side following his summer move from Genk.
The 20-year-old wide man has scored 10 goals and provided a further five assists in 19 appearances in all competitions for Leverkusen, with the latest of those goals a brilliant left-footed strike from outside the penalty area.
Chelsea supporters were quick to have their say on the Jamaican’s latest display via social media, and while one said “Chelsea should pay whatever Leverkusen want for Bailey”, another said “Leon Bailey is going to be the next Arjen Robben”.
Here is just a selection of the Twitter reaction…
