Barcelona Says one of the two will decide the tie

Former Barcelona and Manchester United forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic believes the battle between Lionel Messi and Paul Pogba will decide the winner as his two exes meet on Wednesday night.

The pair will face off at Old Trafford in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final tie.

“I think it’ll be a very interesting match with two great teams,” Ibrahimovic said.

“Two clubs with great history, who are very attractive to watch and have fantastic players in both teams.

Messi obviously makes a difference in every game he plays and it’s no secret, while Pogba does it at United.

“I think it will be a battle between Messi and Pogba, even though it is a collective sport, but these players will make the difference and it will be interesting.”

Zlatan‘s time at the Camp Nou wasn’t the best of his career and his stay there ended badly, but he has some fond memories of his spell at the club.

“We were the best team in the world,” he said in a video published by Barcelona‘s social media channels.

“Wherever we went, people had respect for us and it was enjoyable to play in that team.”
