Inter are working on a new contract for Lautaro Martinez with the intention of removing his €111m release clause.
Lautaro’s agent confirmed yesterday that the striker would ‘soon’ sign a new deal with Inter, and Calciomercato.com has now released details about the negotiations taking place.
According to the website, the Nerazzurri want the 22-year-old to commit without his €111m release clause.
In turn, the Argentine would want to double his salary from €1.5m to €3m and extend his link with the club until 2024.
Martinez joined the Beneamata from Racing Club in the summer of 2018 for around €23m and has scored three goals in nine appearances this season.
