Paul Pogba v Newcastle

‘He’s been a nightmare’

Manchester United legend Paul Ince has slammed midfielder Paul Pogba for his behaviour since returning from the World Cup.

The Frenchman starred in Manchester United’s 2-1 win over Leicester in the first game of the Premier League season, scoring a penalty in the first half.

While there were some talking about his performance after the game, many were talking about Pogba’s post-match comments.

The midfielder explained that if he was to share his true feelings about his situation at Man United, he would probably be fined.

Does Pogba lack ‘professionalism and discipline’?

Now, Manchester United legend Paul Ince has slammed Pogba for his attitude since returning to club duty.

“Since he’s come back, he’s been a nightmare,” Ince explained to Paddy Power, as cited by the Daily Mirror.

“As a player, irrespective of whether you’re happy or unhappy, there are ways to conduct yourself.

“If Jose really thought so little of him, I doubt he’d have given him the armband.

“He had a great game, a real captain’s performance, but no one is talking about that because they’re too busy focusing on his off-field antics.

“I’m just not sure why he’s coming out publicly and disrespecting the club. He’s let himself down.

“All he needs to speak about is the team and their performances, rather than himself.

“It shows a lack of professionalism and discipline.

“If he’s so desperate to instigate a move away from Old Trafford, then he should just go.”

Man United move to deny reports of Paul Pogba-Jose Mourinho bust-up

While many have speculated that Pogba’s comments mean a bust-up with Jose Mourinho, Manchester United have moved quickly to deny that.

They are clearly not happy with the latest reports which are said to be ‘absolute nonsense.’
