Manchester United midfielder Ander Herrera could push for a winter exit from Old Trafford after growing frustrated with the limited first-team action.
The Spaniard has been with the Red Devils since the summer of 2014 and during this period, he has racked over 160 appearances in all competitions.
Despite this, his future has been called into question with his contract expiring in 11 months’ time and Metro reports that he could be heading for an exit in the New Year.
Herrera recently expressed his desire to sign a new long-term deal with United but he appears to have grown frustrated with the lack of progress in addition to the gametime offered.
At present, The 28-year-old is pretty much the fifth-choice midfielder under Jose Mourinho with Nemanja Matic, Paul Pogba, Marouane Fellaini and summer signing Fred ahead of him in the pecking order.
Herrera has made just one Premier League start this season and that came in the embarrassing 3-0 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur at Old Trafford last Monday.
