Borussia Monchengladbach are in negotiations for Inter full-back Dalbert, but the Nerazzurri want to make back their money.

The 24-year-old only arrived a year ago from Nice for €20m plus €6m in bonuses and a 10 per cent cut of any future sale.

However, he failed to make an impact in Serie A, managing only 16 competitive appearances, most of them as a substitute.

According to Sky Sport Italia, Borussia Monchengladbach are determined to pick up the left-back.

If Inter are to sell only 12 months after the move, they will want to at least make back the money spent.

That could be stretched out with the Germans taking Dalbert on loan with option to buy for €20m.
