Lazio have officially signed wingback Manuel Lazzari from SPAL for a reported €10m plus Alessandro Murgia.

Lazzari has put pen to paper on a five-year contract with Lazio and becomes their third summer arrival after Bobby Adekanye and Denis Vavro.

The 25-year-old began his career at SPAL and helped them through the divisions, from Serie C to Serie A in just three seasons.

His performances also earned him an Italy cap last September.

The Biancazzurri have already replaced Lazzari, bringing in Marco D’Alessandro from Atalanta.

In return, SPAL get Murgia back on a permanent basis after a successful loan spell in the second half of last season.

The Italy Under-21 midfielder is best known for scoring the Aquile’s winning goal against Juventus in the 2017-18 Supercoppa.
