After the home kit was announced, Milan have also revealed the new away kit.
Earlier this week Milan unveiled the new 2018/19 home kit, and last night at a PUMA event, the away kit was also unveiled, with Leo Bonucci, Lucas Biglia, Jack Bonaventura, Davide Calabria and Hakan Çalhanoğlu chosen to model it.
As written on acmilan.com: “The away shirt comes in the legendary white that has adorned the backs of legends during eight major European finals. The shirt features a round neck collar with red and black detailing, a black line graphic across the chest, back and arms reminiscent of the 90’s era Milan away kits and the “Diavolo Rossonero” (The Red & Black Devil) on the back of the neck. The shirt will be accompanied by all-white shorts and white socks with a red and black band on the trim.”
An embarrassing moment was noted during last night’s PUMA event as the name on Hakan’s shirt was spelled wrong: Çhalhanoğlu instead of Çalhanoğlu. In addition to Bonucci, Jack, Calabria and Hakan, CEO Marco Fassone, Puma CEO Bjoern Gulden, coach Gennaro Gattuso and squad members of the new Milan Women’s team, along with coach Carolina Morace, also attended the event at Spazio 21.
The shirt is on-sale from the today (10th of July) at Puma official Stores, Puma e-commerce, AC Milan Official Stores (Casa Milan Store, Milan Store, and San Siro Store) and on store.acmilan.com.
