Santiago Solari.

Looking to add a second consecutive LaLiga Santander victory to take his unbeaten run to four games, Real Madrid coach Santiago Solari previewed Los Blancos’ visit to Celta Vigo in a press conference on Saturday.

He addressed a range of topics, including the form of some key men.

“I like Gareth Bale in every position,” he explained after playing him as a wide midfielder against Viktoria Plzen in midweek.

“He has the attributes to play as a striker, out wide, as a playmaker, he has to eat up the pitch every time that he plays.”

The coach also praised many of the youngsters who he has given opportunities to, such as Sergio Reguilon, Alvaro Odriozola and Vinicius Junior.

“You can’t tell how young they are, they’ve carried the weight of the shirt well,” the Argentinian insisted.

That has led to a belief that since his appointment he has developed a strong relationship with the dressing room, though he appeared almost embarrassed to admit it.

“Love from the players? I feel the compromise and seriousness of the players in each game, yes I can see that,” he confessed.

However, goalkeeper Keylor Navas may not be so keen on the new man in charge after losing his spot as first choice in the Champions League.

“If I have spoken to him or not remains private, he’s a strong guy, a faithful guy,” Solari responded when asked if he had explained the situation.

“He’s very integrated in the squad and is very loved.”

The coach also addressed a difficult away trip to Galicia against under pressure Antonio Mohamed.

“It will be a tough game, we need to be very focused to get anything out of it,” Solari stated.

“We see the players wanting to bring the points back to cut the gap.

“Each game is definitive for many reasons, we can only look at tomorrow, the long-term work isn’t about us.”

The game will take place as the final LaLiga Santander fixture on Sunday.
