Tiémoué Bakayoko’s name is gaining more momentum as Milan are reportedly looking to sign him on loan with option.

The transfer market in Italy closes in 10 days, and Leonardo & Maldini are working to get last-minute reinforcements into the squad of coach Rino Gattuso.

Gattuso said that the midfield needs to be strengthened, and according to Sky’s Di Marzio, Milan have made new contacts today with Chelsea for Tiémoué Bakayoko.

Bakayoko joined Chelsea just last summer, but had an extremely disappointing season and could therefore be on the move. Di Marzio claims that the Rossoneri looking to get the 23-year-old Frenchman on loan with option to buy next year. The player is ‘approaching Milan’, Di Marzio says.

Milan continue to work as they are trying to build a squad that can challenge for a top 4 finish in the 2018/19 season. Bakayoko, it seems, is a very concrete goal for the midfield of the Diavolo.
