Napoli will not let their foreign players return to their respective home countries during the forced break due to the Coronavirus outbreak.

It was suggested that some of the players in the Partenopei squad would be leaving Italy when the club announced the postponement of the training sessions, but Il Mattino reveals that the Azzurri are taking a different approach compared to some of their rivals.

There are examples of foreign players returning home during the current emergency, but Napoli have given precise indications of a different mindset.

Il Mattino writes that the Partenopei were currently planning on resuming training this week and were eventually forced to postpone their plans and follow the rigid guidelines set by the Italian government.

But the club has still decided to keep their players in the city, given the need for 14 days of self-isolation and if they decide to travel, the players will require at least another two weeks in quarantine on their return.

The newspaper claims that the extended quarantine is the reason Napoli have denied their foreign stars to return to their respective countries, for now.
