Manchester City will be looking to make it 14 Premier League wins from 16 Premier League matches when they travel to Chelsea on Saturday afternoon.

City beat Watford during the week to move onto 41 points, but they are only two points ahead of second-placed Liverpool, who are also unbeaten at this stage.

Saturday’s clash at Chelsea is huge for Pep Guardiola’s side, and it will be very interesting to see who the Spaniard picks in his starting XI.

The City fans were recently asked whether club captain Vincent Kompany should be named in the starting side against the Blues.

And although the results were extremely close, 54% of those polled said that they did not want the Belgium international to be included.

Kompany started the win over Watford during the week, with Aymeric Laporte dropping out of a Premier League XI for the first time this season.

The City fans, however, want Kompany back on the bench against Chelsea.
