According to journalist Tim Spiers on Twitter, Wolves are big fans of Hoffenheim striker Joelinton.
Told that Wolves are big fans of 22-year-old Brazilian striker Joelinton, but are being put off by the asking price. Reports range between £30m and £40m for the Hoffenheim player, who scored 11 times in 35 appearances last season. No bid made yet and unlikely to be one #wwfc

Reports first emerged via Kicker that the club were interested in the striker before it was then confirmed by Spiers.
The Brazilian had previously attracted the interest of Newcastle this summer as The Mirror claimed he could be worth around £30m. The Northern Echo then suggested it may take as much as £40m to sign him.
Spiers made reference to these two potential fees but they had supporters of Wolves divided over whether they should be paying so much for him.
One fan said the club needed to stop faffing about whilst another suggested it was frustrating if they were waiting for something cheaper.
However, there was also a sceptical reaction surrounding their interest. One individual claimed that £30m would be ridiculous for a player with the statistics he boasts, urging Wolves to move onto another target. A further fan urged for patience.
Joeltinon scored 11 goals in all competitions last term, netting seven of them in the Bundesliga. The 22-year-old, who can also play on the wing, picked up nine assists as well.
Here’s the best of the debate.
That’s nothing! We should just spend the money and stop faffing about. Thanks for the update Tim!

Frustrating if we are waiting around expecting cheaper tbh.

Price you have to pay for a good striker that is only going to improve in year’s to come, Tim. If they were willing to pay £16.5m for Rondon I can’t help but feel anywhere closer to the £30m for Joelinton is a steal.

Prices are only going to get higher the closer we get to deadline day, not to mention fewer options

They need to think about This , Raul and Jota will surely burn out and if cav goes it could be quite concerning , look how much we paid for Raul to get a decent striker in this game you have to just pay

30 mill for potential is ridiculous with his stats …. on to the next target we go.

If we got João Moutinho for 5 million – Patience

Ngl never heard of him. I can’t see us spending 30m+ on him since we just spend 35m on Raul. Atleast we are finally linked with players ??
